We are excited to share that our 2024 - 2025 Academic Year Housing Applications are scheduled to open on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 9:00am (CST) via the Student Housing Portal. Students must be fully admitted and accepted to the university to access the Housing Application. There is a mandatory non-refundable $100 Housing Application Fee for all applicants. Your application is considered completed and you are eligible to receive a housing assignment when you submit your completed and signed Housing Application and pay the non-refundable application fee.
We will host Housing Information Sessions for current, transfer, and prospective students throughout January to help support students and families in our process. We will then upload videos of these presentations for students and families to access after all presentations have been completed. Please reach out to our team if you have questions or concerns and we will do our best to get back to you in a timely and thorough manner.
At UNT Dallas we strive to provide an environment where all students can thrive. In support of this, some students may request housing accommodations based on having specific medical needs or a disability. Examples could include a specific room type, modifying furniture, physically altering the living and/or bathroom space, or technology within the living space to ensure the health and safety of a student based on their needs. While these are just a few possible outcomes, our team works collaboratively with the Office of Disability Services, Counseling and Wellness Center and many others to provide the best support possible to our students so they can fully experience UNT Dallas.
Students who want to request housing accommodations may do so by visiting the Office of Disability Services to learn more about submitting for accommodations. We recommend submitting for housing accommodations as soon as you are able once admitted to the university. This will allow our team time to review the request and work with you on possible accommodations.
Please check out our FAQ page for more information about local apartment complexes that offer options for students in the event they do not secure a space on-campus or desire to live off-campus.
